Internet Scams
Background

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Groups are creating fake identities and running illegal institutions over the internet that draw people to donate money to them which will be stolen.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->As the use of the internet grows across the world, it is becoming easier for scammers to go undetected

Theme
·        It is socially unjust to take advantage of people and make fake promises in order to steal their  Identities/ money.
·         Storyline will show and incorporate  steps for web users to protect themselves from internet thieves.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Along with protection steps the storyline will show the advancements of sophistication of internet  scammers and how to detect them.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->It will also show a background on how internet scammers have affected people's  lives  and in some instances, ruined them.

Resources

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->I will use videos and real life examples of intranet fraud  to illustrate my digital story
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->One True Media will be the software I use to portray my story. If I find that i am having trouble using the software I will use another option from the Cogdogroo website.

Video gives a nice overview about modern hacking and how people can steal personal information from the web. This will give a nice overview for the entire story and some clips of the video will be incorporated into my digital media story
